Bosnia-Herzegovina
The Discovering the Archaeologists of Europe project is delighted to have received permission to publish the results of a project carried out by Andrew Lawler, which has used the Discovering the Archaeologists of Europe project’s methodologies to conduct archaeological labour market intelligence in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The results for Bosnia-Herzegovina are available here, and hopefully will be accessible through the map interface in the near future.
Mr Lawler’s research was undertaken as part of his studies at K.U. Leuven (the project’s Belgian partner) and took place after the conclusion of the main Discovering … project. This meant that it could not be directly supported by the Leonardo da Vinci grant to the project, but this demonstrates the value of applying these methodologies in countries where no such data was previously available, and adds to the comparable dataset of transnational information available to individual archaeologists, employers and policy makers in Bosnia-Herzegovina and across Europe.
