Landward Research Ltd are delighted to announce that we have received funding thanks to the government’s Culture Recovery Fund so that we can continue to be here for you and Here For Culture.
This generous grant will allow us to continue our work to measure and map professional workforces across the heritage sector. Our work is important at a national level, as there are very few competent alternative providers. We are accredited as a Company Partner of the Market Research Society, and are the only organisation accredited by that professional association that acknowledges that it works in the heritage sector.
Within the heritage ecosystem, we provide essential measurements; without knowing the size of any of the subsectors, or its potential future (workforce age profile) or skills requirements, there is no way for the sector to plan for the future.
If it isn’t measured, it can’t be effectively managed.
This funding will allow us to expand the training our staff receive, and we will also be able to retain the member of staff we have currently furloughed. This increase in capacity means that we can expand our reach and deliver new projects for clients.
