Gambia Women’s Chamber of Commerce (GWCC) was established as a not-for-profit organization in 2019 to provide opportunities and visibility for women in business in The Gambia, with a stated mission to educate, empower, mentor and promote women’s businesses, and to foster meaningful business relationships among members, delivering unique business programmes, and hosting creative member events to enhance the capacities and competencies of women in trade, finance and economic opportunities. This extends to young women (youth) and people with disabilities (physically disadvantaged people).
Under our MoU, both parties commit to:
– Seek opportunities to work together in project development and delivery.
– Provide occasional supportive information, advice and guidance on funding and development opportunities.
– Ensure we aren’t entering into competition with each other.
– Accountable and judicious disbursement of financial dividends and commitments.
We look forward to a long and fruitful partnership, working to promote transparency and good governance.
